Field of Usage

Polarized sun lenses become paramount in scenarios where glare is particularly intense, such as at high altitudes, by the sea, and on the beach. This is due to the fact that snow reflects up to 85% of light rays, water 20%, and sand 10%, but they are also great for driving and daily use under intense sun.

What is polarization

Ordinary light is unpolarized: it oscillates in all directions until it strikes a glossy surface. When sunlight is reflected off such a surface (e.g. water, glass, asphalt, snow), and in intense light conditions, it can lead to creating distracting and sometimes blinding glare.
